Approved Driving InstructorI have been a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor ("ADI") since 1991. I operate my own driving school teaching in and around Basingstoke, Overton and Hook in Hampshire. The government's Driving Standards Agency ("DSA") has assessed my standard of tuition as being at grade 5. All ADIs are tested regularly to ensure that they are teaching to the required standards and are graded from 1 to 6, where 6 is the highest standard.My qualifications and professional memberships include:

Driving LessonsI teach beginners / learner drivers in a fully insured Peugeot 107. It is fitted with 'He-Man' dual controls, power steering and air conditioning. My pupils who range in height from 5'0" to 6'4" have no trouble fitting into and driving this car!Lessons can be one, one and a half or two hours long; I do not recommend any longer as it can be quite exhausting. I also teach advanced driving, teach motorway driving, give refresher lessons and I am registered to take newly qualified drivers through the Pass Plus scheme. Pass Plus can save you money on your motor insurance and Hampshire County Council currently will pay £75 towards the cost of the lessons. All of these lessons can be taken either in my own or in the pupil's car. |
